Professional & Personal Background

Mrs. Dembny is married and the mother of 2 children.  She and her family moved to Oshkosh, WI in 2005, and they have found Oshkosh to be a wonderful place to raise a family.  She began her career as an Assistant Public Defender in Will County, Illinois, practicing in court every day. She represented clients on misdemeanor charges and DUIs.  She also practiced in juvenile court representing minors on delinquency petitions, abuse or neglect cases or truancy.  She joined the Will County Legal Assistance Program in 2003 representing victims of domestic violence on Orders of Protection and divorce and custody cases.
